The Connecticut Department of Housing (DOH) has announced the opening of the 2025 application cycle for the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Approximately $11 million in federal funding is available to support community development projects in municipalities with populations under 50,000. Applications must be submitted electronically by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025.

- Housing Rehabilitation
- ADA Compliance Upgrades
- Community Facilities Enhancements
- Economic Development Projects
Application Requirements
- Only one application per town will be accepted.
- Applications must meet at least one of the following National Objectives:
- Benefit to low- and moderate-income persons
- Elimination of slum and blight
- Addressing an urgent need
- Participation in the mandatory application workshop held on April 1, 2025, is required for all applicants.
