Local Law Enforcement Grants for Enforcement of Cybercrimes Program 

The Office of Violence Against Women at the Department of Justice has several grant opportunities with approaching deadlines. More information about grants offered by the Office of Violence Against Women, can be found on the office’s website.

The FY 25 Local Law Enforcment Grant for Enforcement of Cyber Crimes Program is now open and accepting applications. This program provides funding to prevent, enforce, and prosecute cybercrimes, with a particular focus on cybercrimes against adult and young adult victims. The program defines cybercrimes as criminal offences that involve the use of a computer to harass, threaten, stalk, extort, coerce, cause fear to, or intimidate an individual. Eligible applicants include state governments, federally recognized Native American Tribal governments, city or town governments, and county governments.  

This grant has two different deadlines:  

  • Grants.gov deadline: August 7, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. ET 
  • JustGrants deadline: August 12, 2025, by 8:59 p.m. ET

Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program 

The FY 25 Training and Services to End Abuse in Later Life Program is now open and accepting applications. This program provides funding to support a comprehensive approach to address abuse later in life. This abuse may include domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, neglect, abandonment, economic abuse, or willful harm committed against victims who are 50 years or older. Eligible applicants include state governments, Native American Tribal organizations, county governments, and city or town governments.  

This grant has two different deadlines:  

  • Grant.gov deadline: July 8, 2025, by 11:59 p.m. ET 
  • JustGrants deadline: July 10, 2025, by 8:59 p.m. ET

Enhancing Investigation and Prosecution of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (EIP) Initiative 

The FY 25 Enhancing Investigation and Prosecution of Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking (EIP) Initiative is now open and accepting applications. This initiative provides funding to promote and evaluate effective investigation and prosecution responses to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The EIP encourages law enforcement agencies and prosecutors’ offices to expand and improve their capacity to investigate and prosecute these crimes. Other objectives of the funding are to support victim safety and autonomy, hold offenders accountable, and promote trust in the community. Eligible applicants include state governments, federally recognized Native American Tribal governments, city or town governments, and county governments.

Florida Opportunities

The Beach Management Funding Assistance Program FY26-27 Now Open

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is now accepting applications for The Beach Management Funding Assistance Program. Local government funding requests for Fiscal year 2026-2027 are open from June 1, 2025 – July 31, 2025 

Funding is designed to support critically eroded beaches. Funding supports up to 50% of the cost of beach projects and 75% of inlet projects. Funds are available for planning and implementing beach and inlet management projects on Florida’s coasts.  

Projects should be designed to protect upland infrastructure, provide critical habitat for threatened and endangered species, provide recreational opportunities, and support local tourism. Eligible applicants include municipal government, county government, community development districts, and special taxing districts.  

Eligible activities may include:  

  • Beach restoration and nourishment activities 
  • Project design and engineering studies 
  • Environmental studies and monitoring 
  • Inlet management planning 
  • Inlet sand transfer 
  • Dune restoration 
  • Beach and inlet protection activities

Massachusetts Opportunities

Local Acquisitions for Natural Diversity Grant Accepting Applications until July 8, 2025   

The Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs is accepting applications to the Local Acquisitions for Natural Diversity (LAND) Grant from now until July 8,2025 

This funding is designed to support cities and towns in the acquisition of land for conservation and passive recreation purposes. Eligible entities include municipal conservation and agricultural commissions with an up-to-date open space and recreation plan. Eligible project activities include the purchase of land for conservation or passive recreation, or the purchase of a conservation restriction. The maximum award amount is $425,000 and funding may reimburse between 52-70% of the cost.

New Hampshire Opportunities

Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund Source Water Protection Grant is Open 

The 2025 Drinking Water and Groundwater Trust Fund (DWGTF) Source Water Protection Grant is now accepting applications. The deadline for pre-applications has already passed, but final applications are due June 25, 2025. 

Funding supports the permanent protection of drinking water supply lands by keeping them undeveloped. Eligible projects must permanently protect an area of high priority water supply lands including wellhead protection areas, hydrological areas of concern, or high yield stratified drift aquifer (GA2 classification).  

Funding may cover up to 50% of total project costs, and it’s capped at $500,000 per project. Only one application may be submitted for each project.
