The Massachusetts Office of Disability (MOD) is now accepting applications to the FY26 Municipal ADA Improvement Grant. The funding provides reimbursement for a municipality’s updated ADA Self Evaluation and Transition Plans or Making Capital Improvements that improve access or remove barriers in municipal programs, services, or facilities

Applications must be submitted to the online portal by June 13, at 5 p.m.

Eligible projects include municipal-owned properties like town or city halls, libraries, parks, sidewalks, streets, school districts and housing authorities.

Private businesses, private property, non-profits or other non-municipal properties are not eligible for funding.

Those with questions can visit the MOD website, view the recorded info session, or reach out to the grant compliance coordinator at Evan.George@mass.gov.
