The Massachusetts Attorney General’s Municipal Law Unit is holding free, online training sessions this month on the zoning bylaw amendment process and bylaw filing.

Municipal Law Unit staff will discuss a variety of topics, including the requirements under Chapter 40, Section 32, and Chapter 40A, Section 5; the necessary forms and information to be submitted to the Municipal Law Unit as part of the bylaw filing process; and an overview of the MBTA Communities zoning requirements under Chapter 40A, Section 3A.

There will be a question and answer session as well.

Presenters will be:

• Kelli Gunagan, Assistant Attorney General
• Nicole Caprioli, Assistant Attorney General

The remaining sessions will be held via Zoom on:
• Monday, Feb. 26, 1 – 2:30 p.m.
• Wednesday, Feb. 28, 10 – 11:30 a.m.
