The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will be hosting three public informational webinars to provide an overview of their new Meaningful Involvement Policy to provide an overview of the policy and allow the public to ask questions during a 60-day public comment period. The purpose of the new policy is to promote an EPA-wide approach to meaningful public involvement that can be tailored for program and regional needs. The new policy also provides guidance for EPA teams about meaningfully involving the public in the Agency’s regulatory and program decisions.

The new policy updates the EPA’s 2003 Public Involvement Policy.
