Utilizing ARPA funds, the State has released a grant of up to $100,000 per community ($200k – $300K for two towns or a regional application) to fund the delivery of hybrid programming to residents over the age of 60. The grants will fund equipment, staffing and program expenses through March 31, 2025, with no match required. Hybrid programming is defined as classes/events that are run in person & virtually so participants can choose the setting they prefer, and they can be run at the same time, or on different schedules. Priority will be given to COAs in either gateway cities or rural communities, COA’s that don’t currently offer this option, and programming that is synchronous (in person & virtual at the same time).
Grant applications are due by September 25th at 5 PM and must be submitted using the MassGrants portal.
