Capital Strategic Solutions Selected as Vendor for City of Boston Digital Content Creation Assistance Program

Capital Strategic Solutions (CSS) is proud to announce that we have been awarded a contract with the City of Boston’s Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion (OEOI) to provide Digital Content Creation Technical Assistance for small businesses across the city. This award marks an exciting milestone for our firm and reinforces our commitment to empowering local businesses with the tools, strategies, and digital presence they need to succeed in today’s economy.

About the Program

Through this initiative, the City of Boston is offering small business owners individualized, hands-on support to help them strengthen their online presence. From developing digital content strategies to creating tailored social media campaigns, the program ensures that business owners walk away with actionable skills, practical tools, and a clear plan to reach new audiences and grow their businesses.

Each engagement will be customized to reflect the unique needs, capacity, and goals of each business owner, with an emphasis on accessibility, cultural responsiveness, and long-term sustainability.

Our Approach

Under this program, CSS will provide:

• Individual Consultations & Needs Assessments – One-on-one sessions with business owners to identify goals and challenges.
• Hands-On Content Development – Co-creating posts, campaigns, templates, and other tools that reflect each business’s brand and voice.
• Capacity Building & Training – Equipping business owners with the knowledge and skills to manage their digital strategies independently.
• Final Deliverables & Reporting – Providing both the City of Boston and business owners with comprehensive materials and documentation to continue their efforts.

Technical Assistance Provider Breakfast at Brassica Kitchen

Following the award, CSS was honored to attend the Technical Assistance Provider Breakfast hosted at Brassica Kitchen + Café in Jamaica Plain. This event, organized by the City of Boston’s Office of Economic Opportunity & Inclusion (OEOI), brought together city staff, program managers, and fellow technical assistance providers to kick off the initiative

The breakfast offered a fantastic opportunity to network with City of Boston representatives, including staff from the Office of Small Business and the Boston Main Streets Foundation, as well as to connect with other vendors selected for the program. We also had the pleasure of meeting one of the co-owners of Brassica Kitchen, a small business that has previously benefited from the City’s support, a powerful reminder of the real impact this program can have.

We want to extend a sincere thank you to Brassica Kitchen for hosting us and to the City of Boston OEOI for bringing providers together to share ideas, collaborate, and prepare to support Boston’s small businesses.
